IB Primary Years Programme.
The PYP is designed for students between the ages of 3 and 12 years.
It is an inquiry-based transdisciplinary programme that focusses on the whole child - touching hearts as well as minds, and incudes the social, physical, emotional and cultural welfare of our students as well as their academic needs. The PYP aims to develop internationally minded students, that with encouragement, care and opportunities, can create a better and more peaceful world.
The PYP (as well as the MYP and DP), describe an internationally minded-person through the attributes expressed in the IB Learner Profile.
These attributes describe what we want our students to become.
We want our students to be inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, knowledgeable, principled, caring, open-minded, balanced and reflective. In addition, the program promotes and fosters a set of attitudes that include tolerance, respect, integrity, independence, enthusiasm, empathy, curiosity, creativity, cooperation, confidence, commitment and appreciation. At ISB, we believe that learners construct meaning through planned, purposeful, concept-driven inquiries where skills, knowledge and understanding are embedded in authentic and meaningful contexts.
We want to equip our students with the academic and life skills to make them responsible members of a rapidly changing global society.

157 godina istorije ove škole cini nas ponosnim, ali nas i veoma obavezuje.
Nakon niza burnih i promenljivih decenija, u toku 2012.godine školi su psotavljeni solidni temelji, izvodenjem prve nemacke mature u novorenoviranim prostorijama.
Nemačka škola, nakon inspekcije koja je došla na jesen 2013.godine u nemačku školu, dobila je sertifikat kao savršena škola u inostranstvu!

Privatna osnovna škola na Senjaku.
We admit children at any time provided there are places available. We accept children with special needs provided we feel the child will benefit from the educational programmes of the school. An initial assessment may be carried out before entry to the Primary Section to ascertain current levels.
An Individual Education Plan (IEP) may be necessary if levels are below current standards in the school. Our overriding principle is that we maximize the chances of success for your child. The Curriculum of England is delivered in English.
If English is not the child’s mother tongue, or she/he has had limited preschool experiences, we are happy to discuss the possibility of your child entering a year below.
This is normal in an English International School where children begin their formal education at 5 years of age i.e.
one or two years before many state systems. It is vitally important to us that the child’s initial experiences at our school are happy ones.
We first concentrate on integration e.g.
developing friendships, learning about their preferences, being aware of school expectations and procedures etc.
